Inspirational Quotes on Independence Day 2020
Independence Day is around the corner and it is the best time to reflect upon the meaning of freedom for oneself and the society as a whole.
For some freedom is to do whatever they wish to and for some freedom is to let others do whatever they want to.
For some freedom is about sharing their views, opinions and thoughts freely.
For some freedom is about being able to grow and let others grow along with them.
Different people have different versions of their freedom. But over the period of time, great individuals and thinkers have stressed upon this crucial fact about freedom.
Freedom surely means that you should be able to do what you want to do but it also means that you allow others to do what they want to do.
Freedom cannot be experienced in isolation by some individuals or a small group of people, rather freedom is when a society as a whole uplifts itself and each one of them grows and improves.
Freedom has another beautiful perspective too.
We might be free physically but it is worth considering whether are we free mentally, in our thinking.
This list is never ending.
Our ancestors have already fought for our freedom as a Nation and now we are a free country.
We celebrate our Independence Day on 15th August every year. We are grateful for their efforts and sacrifices. We owe our freedom to them.
However, the meaning of true freedom doesn’t end there.
Every single human needs to be free in his or her mind, only then he or she will be considered as truly free.
Rather than getting influenced by situations, opinions and fears, you need to understand who you truly are, explore your true potential, express yourself using your gifts and emerge as a true free soul.
Only then you can consider yourself as free in true sense. Otherwise, we’ll all stay slaves of our own fears and others’ opinions.
